Brazil Angola Community Information Centre

About the Brazil Angola Community Information Centre

The Brazil Angola Community Information Centre offers information and advice to help with the integration and adaption of newcomers belonging to the Portuguese-speaking communities in the Toronto area. The Brazil Angola Community Information Centre was recognized by the Canadian government as a beneficent institution on March 5, 2000, under the registration number 1454298.

Our work philosophy is based on the following premises: social inclusion, integration, gender equality and respect for diversity in views, culture, ethnic background, beliefs and sexual orientation. All services are free and confidential. The Brazil Angola Community Information Centre has no ties to any religious or political organizations.

The volunteers working for the Brazil Angola Community Information Centre are themselves immigrants belonging to the communities we assist so they have been through the same difficulties when arriving in Canada. Therefore, they are able to share their experience and knowledge with the newcomers, increasing their opportunities of social integration. All our volunteers are able to help Brazil Angola Community Information Centre’s clients on the most relevant issues for newcomers.

We would like to thank the Organizations that are helping us:
