Toronto Public Library

The Toronto Public Library is the largest public library system in Canada, with 98 branches and more than 11 million itens to borrow or use in the library.

To get your Library Card, go to any branch and bring 2 pieces of ID (such as your driver's license (or passport) and another ID showing your address (like a school letter - if you're studying).

The library card is free. On each branch you have access to Internet (just come by to your preferred branch). You can borrow books, cassetes and DVD´s to watch at home. The average time for books to be on loan is 3 weeks, and for videos and DVD´s 7 days (or 1 week).
